Dr. Paul L. Woolf










Dr. Woolf is a native of Mesa, Arizona.

He received his B.S. degree from A.S.U. He received his O.D. degree from Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Woolf completed clinical externships in primary care optometry and ocular disease with the Indian Health Service in Sacaton and Winslow, Arizona. He completed an externship in Low Vision at the Center for Partially Sighted in Santa Monica, California. He also completed an externship in ocular disease and refractive surgery at Barnet Eye Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Woolf is the author of "Clinical Abbreviations for Optometry" which is used by most optometry schools when teaching student doctors what abbreviations are appropriate to use in patient charts. He was the recipient of the Bausch and Lomb Award for Achievement in Contact Lenses and the Mattingly International Award for Achievement in Low Vision. Dr. Woolf was selected for inclusion in the 2007,2008,2009 and 2010 edition of "GUIDE TO AMERICA'S TOP OPTOMETRISTS", published by Consumers' Research Council of America. He is a member of the NATIONAL REGISTER OF WHO'S WHO. He is a Member of the Arizona Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. He is also a member of the Contact Lens Section of the AOA. Dr. Woolfand his wife Trudy have four children. They currently reside in Gilbert, Arizona.



The Staff

Our friendly and professional staff make our office run smoothly and effeciently. They are well trained and can answer your questions about insurance, assist you with your eyewear needs, repair old glasses, complete your contact lens training and much more. Our staff truly enjoy helping people and it shows in how they treat our patients and make them feel welcome. They are well trained in all aspects of our office and can help in all areas, if needed.
